Porsche 356

Type 547 / 616 pushrod four-cam-cover engine — 356 / 356A / 356B / 356C (1100–1600 SC).

Head bolt procedure
  1. Cylinder head nuts — torque in three even stages working from the centre outwards in the factory sequence.
  2. Stage 1: 15 Nm (11 lb-ft).
  3. Stage 2: 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  4. Stage 3: 34 Nm (25 lb-ft). Re-torque after first warm-up.
